Site spiral staircase with side exit...

The Escalib Mills MDS (Safe Erection and Dismantling) is a metal spiral staircase with side exit. The triangular step then acts as a landing. Turn the Escalib Mills stair tower through 90° until slab of the steps is level with the working deck. The stair tower is constructed using a base, 1 to 8 modules that are easy to erect using a crane and a barrier gate at the top (maximum height 20 m10).
Erection using only collective protection (no safety harness) is simple and fast: just 4 nuts per module. Each module has foldaway barrier gates that are attached at one end.
The Escalib Mills tower can be moved by crane.
Its small footprint makes it easy to set up even in cramped sites.

The new hexagonal version of the Mills Escalib can be erected safely by hand, without a crane, without tools and with harness.

With side exits from both steps of the top flight, it can be used to access any height up to 4.9 m without additional steps.
It can be erected simply and rapidly using the same operations for each flight comprising an upright, a guard rail and a two step module.
 
Workmen can move up and down safely and easily, reducing wasted time and eliminating the risks associated with ladders. It has a very small footprint

With accessories, it can serve all heights and link to access bridges.

Advantages: Mills Acram structure with only 4 newel posts.   Less need for ground construction: 3.00 x 1.50 m or 3.00 x 2.00 m. Cranable. Possibility of a landing every 0.50 m thanks to suitable stringers.
