Eiffage civil engineering is building the "Saut de mouton" structure on the ile St-Martin in Bezons for the extension of the "Eole" RER towards Mantes-la-Jolie in the west of Greater Paris.

The choice to install an Escalib Mills HEXAGONAL was necessary because the proximity of the catenaries of the existing railroad prevented the installation of a crane for an Escalib Mills, says Antoine de Tournemire, Works Engineer of Eiffage GC. This 10 m high staircase can be climbed by hand without tools and with collective protection.

Mills Acram service scaffolding was also erected to work at the bottom of the cofferdams (-12 m deep) and to access the heads of the piers of the structure).

The Escalib Mills Hexagonal allows access to all heights from 0m to 9m40 without any particular adaptation..
