Mills at Hinkley Point C…

31/03/2020

The BYLOR Consortium (Bouygues TP and Laing O‘ Rourke) is building the Hinkley Point C EPR power plant in Somerset, in the United Kingdom, a pharaonic project with 55 cranes and one of the most complex in Europe.

After several months of technical studies using BIM, Mills delivered the first Tourechaf shoring towers and the formwork for the erection of the nuclear island. To solve the access problems, more than 100 Escalib Mills modules were also supplied.

Mills trained the BYLOR teams who are now ready to assemble the Tourechaf and the Escalib Mills.
