A tower can be extended using
frames and standards, for example:
> Rows:
> Blocks:
- Continuous rows
- Row with extensions
Interconnected towers
- Row with bracing between towers

>Towers with extension:
In practice, not more than 4
standards should be added
per frame at each level and
these must be wind braced.
0.15 m ledgers are not
suitable for extensions.
> Bracing:
Connecting the towers together and bracing them is very sim-
ple using our ledgers and diagonal braces which avoid the pro-
blems of “tube and coupler” systems.
When the towers have a deck at the top, the bracing must be
at least 1.00 m below the deck to prevent interference with
the diagonal braces.
