M I L L S T O U R : S H O R I N G T O W E R F O R C I V I L E N G I N E E R I N G W O R K S Special features 18 1 - Releasing the load The load on the shoring is released by lowering the heads. 2 –Telescoping - Fit the jacks to the telescopic standards. - Raise slightly to release the pins. - Reduce the level to the height required. - Replace the pins. 3 – Moving - Position the trolleys under the base ledgers and pin in position. - Jack up the tower. - Move the tower to the next position. 4 –Telescoping - When the tower is in position, remove the trolleys. - Extend the telescopic components to the right height for the next operation. > Lifting T ROLLEYS Using slings. Using lifting rings attached to telescopic standards. J A C K NB: Fit the base ledgers with the bracket inside the tower.
